DAPPA Inc. Code of Conduct
 
Members shall:

1. Ensure that companion animals under their care shall at all times be provided with humane treatment in accordance with applicable State and Federal regulations.

2. Comply with the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998 and Local Authority Rules of the park or reserve they are in.

3. Register with local authorities where required.

4. Display co-operation, courtesy and a professional manner in relation to other park or reserve users.

5. At all times maintain adequate control over any companion animal in their charge.

6. At all times protect against unauthorised capture, abuse or interference of any companion animal in their charge.

7. When transporting companion animals, maintain appropriate ventilation, provide fresh water, protect against extremes of temperature and protect against unauthorised release of animals in their charge.

8. At all times maintain appropriate security arrangements in and around clients’ property.

9. Where feasible, refer clients they are unable to service to other accredited association members.
